FOR A GUY'S BIG DAY: Underwear may ease vasectomy's down side
For a lot of guys, the mere thought of a vasectomy is painful enough, but there can be a real ache associated with the procedure. That's what led Ron Zittler of Round Lake to want to improve on the package of frozen peas that he used to dull the pain.
Thus we have Vasowear, a pair of special underwear with a front pouch designed to properly position refreezable ice packs, two of which come with the $29.95 garment (plus $6 shipping). Too, inside is an "anti-gravity inner shelf."

Round Lake Man Invents Post-op Underpants
Vasectomy. Just hearing the word will make most men wince uncomfortably. Going through the actual procedure can be even more uncomfortable, especially the first couple of days after it's been performed.
Ron Zittler, 42 of Round Lake, has come up with an invention that makes recovery time a little less painful.
